Advanced, minimally invasive treatment for natural hair growth

PRP hair restoration is an exciting new development due to the many advantages it offers over traditional hair restoration methods. No more hair plugs and painful, tedious surgeries, instead, your own platelet-rich plasma, drawn at our office, is injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth and improve the health and texture of existing hair.

PRP hair restoration works by injecting plasma to stimulate hair follicles, typically on the scalp and/or eyebrows. This non-surgical treatment is ideal for men and women who are in the early stages of hair loss, however, patients farther along the balding process with inactive hair follicles may also be candidates. Four treatments, a month apart are recommended to start, with maintenance treatments every one to two years. Early results can be seen as soon as two weeks with improved hair texture and shaft thickness, typically it takes three to six months to see measurably thicker hair.

Treatments are performed in our office and take 30 - 60 minutes including prep time. Afterward, you can return to your normal routine without interruption.

Before treatment, the underarms are numbed for patient comfort. During the miraDry procedure, precisely controlled electromagnetic energy is non-invasively delivered to eliminate the underarm sweat glands. Two, one hour procedures are typically recommended three months apart. The sweat glands don't grow back after treatment, resulting in a dramatic and lasting reduction of underarm sweat.

You should be able to return to normal activities or work right after the procedure, and can typically resume exercise within several days. Localized soreness or swelling is normal, and usually clears within a few weeks. Some patients have temporary, short-term altered sensation in the skin of their underarms or upper arms, which gradually disappears.
