Dear Patient,
I have always had a strong inclination to practice Dermatology and I am eager to work alongside our highly qualified team of providers. It is very humbling to join the physicians that inspired me to pursue a career in medicine and I look forward to implementing this knowledge into my practice. I take pride in continuing to further my medical knowledge in this field by attending conferences, lectures, and staying up to date on the newest treatments.
Dermatology is an essential component to your health and well-being. Treating acute and/or chronic skin conditions has the ability to improve your quality of life. This entails not only treating the physical symptoms but also the psychosocial aspects of disease. This has inspired my career in skin care and I am privileged to have the opportunity to address your specific skin needs. As my patient, we will take a collaborative approach in developing your treatment plan as if you were family. I strive to educate my patients on all aspects of their condition, including all available treatments to ensure they receive what is best for them.
I was born in Aurora, Colorado and lived at West Point, New York for five years before my family settled in Grand Rapids. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences at Grand Valley State University. I trained and received my Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Dayton. I am excited to be back in West Michigan! In my free time I enjoy boating and any sports related activities, especially golf, hockey, and snowboarding. I also enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring National Parks.
