Dear Patient,
My name is Anna Friedrich, FNP-BC and I have struggled with skin issues my entire life. My countless visits as a dermatology patient and many years studying in the field have provided me with a unique background as a provider. As someone who has been on both sides of the curtain, I strive to incorporate a holistic approach to the treatment of my patients.

My interests lie in skin cancer prevention, acute skin conditions, cosmetic, and lasers. Speaking from personal experience, the better you look, the better you feel.

Originally from the Eastside of the state, I moved to West Michigan to attend Grand Valley State University, where I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. I subsequently completed my masters degree at Chamberlain University in Chicago. Throughout my masters program, I worked as a nurse under dermatologist, Dr Richard Ashack, from whom I absorbed a wealth of knowledge. I look to treat patients with the same respect, humor and evidence-based care that he did.

Outside of the office, I spend time with my husband, Jordan, our sweet son, Beckham, and our rescue puppy, Milo. Together we enjoy exercising, traveling, and being outdoors.

It is an honor and privilege to serve patients from a dermatology perspective. Growing up, my dermatologist made both a medical and psychosocial impact on my life; something I strive to do daily with my patients.
