Robert J. Lamberts, M.D.
Board Certified, Dermatology
Board Certified, Internal Medicine

Dear Patient,
When you visit our office, you will be cared for with the best and most progressive
techniques Dermatology has to offer. The field of Dermatology is in the midst of a
revolution. Advances are here right now that effectively treat conditions that were
life altering just a few years ago. And, new treatments called biologicals are emerging
that can treat even severe and incapacitating disease like psoriasis.

Cosmetic therapies are also evolving. I am particularly interested in laser surgery,
the treatment of venous diseases and non-ablative, non-invasive cosmetic
procedures—ones that deliver maximum results with minimal discomfort and little
to no down time. To stay ahead of the game, I regularly attend training sessions for
advanced cosmetic techniques and communicate with colleagues around the world.
We also invest in the latest technology and regularly are the first in west Michigan
to offer new cosmetic techniques.

I find my job very rewarding and love to come to work each day. Many of my
patients experience dramatic results very quickly and seeing them feel better about
themselves gives me a lot of satisfaction. I also appreciate my outstanding staff;
they are the best I’ve ever worked with.

Grand Rapids, Michigan is my birthplace, but I grew up in Florida and then spent
two years in the United States Army where I was based in Giessen, West Germany.
In West Germany, I was the commanding officer of a health clinic.

My wife Nancy and I were married in Taiwan, where she grew up; we have four
daughters and two sons. They are my pride and joy. I take pleasure in golf at the
Cascade Hills Country Club (where I am a past president of the board of directors),
Big Ten football (especially University of Michigan), and reading biographies,
fiction and theology.
