Dear Patient,
I’m excited to meet you! I’ve had an interest in dermatology since I was a teenager, and it’s a dream come true to be able to work in dermatology for my career. I spent a year training at Henry Ford Health System in Metro Detroit, and then worked for 8 years at several different Henry Ford Dermatology clinics. I focused on general, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology. I treated a variety of skin conditions — ranging from more common problems such as warts, acne and rosacea — to more challenging and chronic skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa. My goal is for my patients to always feel their voice is heard regarding their skin condition, and that we work together to determine treatment plans.

I love treating patients of all ages. As a mother, daughter and granddaughter, I understand the challenges and fears of parents and caretakers, and am happy to take the time to work with you to determine the best treatment for your loved one.

As a woman in my mid-30s, I can also identify with patients who have noticed their skin changing over time. I’m happy to provide help and guidance on how to keep your skin looking its best, whether this includes discussing products to use at home, or providing in-office treatments like Botox and fillers.

When it comes to skin cancer, I understand the fear and concern associated with the word cancer and am here to help direct you in terms of skin cancer prevention, detection and treatment options.

If I've learned anything over the past 9 years, it’s that there is always something new to learn. I regularly attend dermatology related lectures and training sessions and am constantly learning from my patients. Your care and satisfaction are my top priorities, and as your Physician Assistant, I’m proud to work with a great team of Board Certified Dermatologists to help ensure you receive the best possible care.

When I’m not working, I’m busy chasing my four young children around at home, and at all of their activities. I love spending time with them and my husband, exercising, reading, traveling and exploring our new city.

So excited to be joining Dermatology Associates of West Michigan!
